If you live in the area, I recommend you check out Port Washington's recently opened South Beach. I find myself drawn there quite often... usually with camera in hand, sometimes just for a walk, or even to check out the view from my car for a minute or two. I haven't taken Kailee, my chocolate lab (who you're sure to meet if you come here often), there yet, but I know she's going to love it! Here are a few pictures from one of those crazy windy days we had last month.
So glad you posted these. I want to explore down there, too. Will you go to Lion's Den with me next week? On foot or by ski, whichever works...
